ALCREATICA 2K26

ALCREATICA 2K26 was successfully organized on 9th and 10th January 2026. The two-day event showcased the artistic talents and creativity of students through various competitions. The programme commenced with an Inauguration Ceremony held on 09/01/2026 at 9:30 AM in the college Quadrangle. The ceremony began with a prayer led by Rev. Fr. Ajin Jose, Assistant Correspondent and Campus Minister. The event was formally inaugurated with the declaration of ALCREATICA 2K26 open by the Secretary and Correspondent, Rev. Fr. Thomas Poovathummoottil. Following the inauguration, competitions began at 10:00 AM in different venues. Students from each department participated enthusiastically, displaying remarkable creativity, originality, and artistic skills. The second day of ALCREATICA 2K26 commenced at 10:00 AM with vibrant dance competitions in the Multipurpose Hall. The performances were colourful, energetic, and culturally rich, captivating both the audience and the judges. The Valediction Ceremony held at 12:30 PM in the Multipurpose Hall. The programme began with a melodious Prayer Song by the College Choir, followed by the Lighting of the Lamp by the dignitaries. The Welcome Address was delivered by Ms. Nithisha J S, III B.Com. The Valedictory Address was given by the Secretary and Correspondent, Rev. Fr. Thomas Poovathummoottil, who appreciated the students’ talents and encouraged them to continue nurturing their creative abilities. The most-awaited Prize Distribution followed, during which the winners were honoured. The Department of Mathematics secured the Overall Champion, the First Runner-up by the Department of English and the Second Runner-up by the Department of Chemistry. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Arish Dona, and the ceremony came to an end with the National Anthem. ALCREATICA 2K26 was a grand success, fostering artistic expression and healthy competition among students. The event provided a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talents and strengthened the spirit of creativity and cultural appreciation within the college community. I wholeheartedly thank all the committee convenors, Heads of the Departments, staff members and non-teaching staff for their full involvement. My special gratitude to the Secretary and Correspondent, Principal, Assistant Correspondent and Vice Principal for rendering their support and guidance to make the event successful. Thank you.
