Message from the Principal

Education has become the serious business in the present age. The motive of the higher education must be making the graduates in the real sense of being graduated in the university curriculum with holistic formation. In today’s scenario most probably the academic programme is carried out literally following the syllabus with semester exam pattern fulfilling the requirement. If this scenario continues then the outcome of education might be the formation of minds filled with some practical and theoretical information for the purpose of completion of academic degrees. The challenging task is how we can make the education a better and holistic programme for the present generation of students is to realize that education of the heart is the heart of the education.

In the present context besides the actual academic programme the holistic education targeting the overall formation that includes social, emotional and spiritual formation, character building, problem solving with skill development and training for employability and career building. If this target is achieved through the various means of education with quality and excellence in carrying out these means as the true purpose of education where not only the mind is formed but also the heart is formed with right values and principles then the education of the heart becomes the heart of the education.
