Entrepreneurship: Path Towards Success

Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute (EDII) Cell organized a one-day empowerment programme Nimirthu Nil "Entrepreneurship: Path Towards Success” in the Multimedia Hall. The session commenced sharply at 10.30 a.m. with a melodious prayer song rendered by the college choir, invoking the blessings of the Almighty for a fruitful session.

The Welcome Address was delivered by Ms. Anto Mebisa, II M.Sc. Physics, who warmly greeted the dignitaries, faculty members, and students. Her words set a positive tone for the day’s proceedings. The programme was then inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Angelo Joseph SDB, the Principal, St.Alphosa College of Arts and Science,who in his Inaugural Address emphasized the importance of entrepreneurial thinking among youth and encouraged students to develop innovative ideas that contribute to society and the nation’s growth. Following this, Dr. Besmi, Assistant Professor in Commerce and the Convenor of EDII, introduced the Chief Guest, Dr. R. Leo Bright Singh, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Mar Ephraem College of Engineering and Technology, Elavuvilai. Dr. Leo Bright Singh then took charge of the session and delivered a powerful and insightful presentation on the theme “Entrepreneurship: Path Towards Success.” He enlightened the participants on the significance of innovation and creative thinking in building a successful entrepreneurial journey. He also elaborated on how the Government of Tamil Nadu and the EDII support student entrepreneurs by providing funds, guidance, and platforms to transform their innovative ideas into viable business ventures. The session inspired students to think differently, act innovatively, and view challenges as opportunities. The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Bincy, I B.A. English, who expressed gratitude to the chief guest, dignitaries, faculty members, and students for their active participation and support. Overall, the one-day empowerment programme “Nimirthu Nil” was a great success, inspiring young minds to pursue entrepreneurship with confidence, creativity, and commitment.
