Prevention of Sexual Harassment

Ours is a campus that strives to ensure physical and emotional safety & well-being to everyone connected with us. Our students being our utmost priority, the Internal Complaints Committee of our college strategically organized an Awareness Program on Prevention of Sexual Harassment for them.

The event was effectively executed in the presence of the Assistant Correspondent Rev Fr Ajin Jose. Ms Danica, I MSc Maths welcomed the gathering. Eminent resource person, Ms Uma, Gender Specialist, District Social Welfare Office, Nagercoil empowered the students with Verbal, Physical & Visual Sexual Harassment that questions the safety of students. She also exposed the students to the law and amenities available at their disposal. Further, Ms Anisha, Specialist in Finance Literacy shed light on Tamil Puthalvan & Puthumai Penn schemes by the Government of Tamilnadu, aimed at offering financial security to the students.

The well orchestrated meeting came to a close with Vote of Thanks by Ms Rashika of I BA English. The ICC unit is grateful to the management for entrusting with us such a crucial responsibility.
