Recruitment Guidance Programme on Higher Education Opportunities Abroad

The PG & Research Department of Commerce of St. Alphonsa College of Arts and Science, Karungal, organized a Recruitment Guidance Programme on Higher Education Opportunities Abroad on 15th October 2025 at 10.00 a.m. in the College Multimedia Hall. The event was attended by Undergraduate and Postgraduate students of the Department of Commerce.

The programme began with a Prayer Song by the College Choir, followed by a Welcome Address delivered by Ms. Dhanya T of II M.Com.The Inaugural Address was given by Rev. Dr. Angelo Joseph, SDB, Principal of St. Alphonsa College, who encouraged students to explore global learning opportunities and appreciated the department for organizing the session. The Resource Person, Ms. Sharon Jesuretnam, Quality Officer, ICD Business School, Dublin, led a session on Higher Education Opportunities in Ireland. She explained the admission process, scholarships, visa details, and post-study work options, providing valuable guidance to students interested in studying abroad. The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Nithisha J S of III B.Com, who expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event. Overall, the session was informative and motivated students to pursue higher education and career opportunities abroad.
